The news was given by the Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja.<\/p>\n<p>It is known that the &#8220;EU4Culture&#8221; team is working to stabilize the northern part of the castle wall, which has suffered serious damage.<\/p>\n<p>After decades of deterioration and other damage from the 2019 earthquake, this intervention is very important to prevent a collapse and preserve the structure until full restoration is done.<\/p>\n<p>The first phase of restoration has begun with excavations and archaeological tests in the intervention area.<\/p>\n<p>Lezha Castle is one of the most important objects of Albanian Cultural Heritage and History.<\/p>\n<p>The castle of the ancient city of Lezha is surrounded by walls from different periods dating from the antiquity c.
