On the eve of Christmas, from St. Paul’s Cathedral in Tirana, Monsignor Arjan Dodaj, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Tirana-Durres, delivered an inspiring message to the faithful and the whole society.<\/p>\n

Monsignor Dodaj invited the faithful and the whole society to show more love and reflect on the values \u200b\u200bof service and care for each other.<\/p>\n

“To share love and put ourselves at the service of each other,” he said, emphasizing the value of life and the need for a new awareness. God visits us in every child that comes into life, as no child is a mistake or a coincidence, but a gift. How much our country needs children today and how much our children need families, educators and pro-family life policies. Otherwise, we are destined to fade into alarming numbers of demographic depletion.”<\/p>\n

A special appeal was addressed to the political class, inviting politicians to distance themselves from violent rhetoric and become worthy examples for the Albanian youth.<\/p>\n

“Especially politicians can learn healthier politics to help the population detox from the politics of conflict, violence and vulgarity. Children and young people watch you and often imitate you,\u201d he said<\/p>\n

Christian believers are expected to gather on the evening of December 24 for the holy Christmas mass, sharing wishes for more peace and love among each other.<\/p>\n
