The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku, during a press conference, made a presentation of the steps that the government has taken for the Albanian energy sector in terms of price reduction.<\/p>\n
Balluku spoke about the entire evolution that this sector has had, from where it stops in numbers and subsequent changes year after year.<\/p>\n
“This sector has evolved a lot by going through an ordeal of sacrifices. If we start in 2005, the prices were divided into two bands, as one had a division which has turned out to be unstudied, while the other band was paid at 4.5 Lek, also the band over 210 kilowatts was paid at 9 Lek.<\/p>\n
The changes are every year, where it is shown that there was an instability and no vision for the continuity of the energy sector, but after a year these two bandages come together, drawing a price of 7 ALL. In 2008, the bands were redistributed to another level, a 300 kilowatt band which is paid for at 7 Lek”.<\/p>\n
Balluku stops in 2010, where it turns out to be the year with the highest price ever applied, explaining it in numbers.<\/p>\n
“In 2010, we have the highest historical price ever applied where we have the band under 300 kilowatts at 7.7 Lek and the band over 300 kilowatts at 13.5 Lek.<\/p>\n
We continue in 2015 where it is decided that the bandages will be removed once and for all and a price of 9.5 lek is set, this unified price that will be in effect until February 1, 2025”, added the minister.<\/p>\n
She has also pointed out the fact that Albania holds the first place in the Balkans in terms of renewable energy, aiming not to lose such a place through other processes that await Albania related to renewable resources.<\/p>\n
“Albania will not lose the first place in the Balkans in terms of renewable energy and we intend to be the champions of the Balkans through a diversified portfolio.<\/p>\n
We have started work on another renewable source, which is that of wind energy, which requires more time for implementation, we have started it as a process because 222 mega will come from the state auction which has been fulfilled”, said the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy , Belinda Balluku.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
