After 1 and a half years since the law was approved in Parliament, the government yesterday defined the criteria and strong rules for the cultivation of areas with cannabis sativa for medicinal purposes.<\/p>\n
In the Decision of the Council of Ministers, the rules for the movement of the means of transportation of the raw materials needed for this purpose are defined, together with the security plan.<\/p>\n
According to the government’s decision, the narcotic plant can be planted in open or closed spaces, but they must be monitored 24 hours a day and there must be guards to guard these spaces.<\/p>\n
Cameras and guards, along with setting up a server to store images for 1 year, are also some of the licensing criteria for companies that will exercise this activity.<\/p>\n
Another criterion that will have to be met is related to the physical preservation of the premises where cannabis will be cultivated, where the Decision of the Council of Ministers determines that the premises must be surrounded by walls up to 4 meters high with barbed wire.<\/p>\n
The transport of medical cannabis will only be done in closed vehicles and accompanied by the State Police from one point to another.<\/p>\n
