Diaspora votes are expected to arrive from a total of 70 polling places for the May 11 general elections. This is what the CEC application shows so far, as far as the countries where the applications came from to register as voters in the May 11 process.<\/p>\n
The list is headed by Italy, Greece and Germany, three countries that together account for 67.6% of applicants. In other words, 10,873 Albanian citizens have so far registered to vote only from Italy, Greece and Germany. Then the list continues with applicants from the USA, Great Britain, France, Canada, Sweden, Belgium or Switzerland.<\/span><\/p>\n But what stands out is that during these first 4 days there were also registrations from very distant countries of the Pacific, Asia, Africa or Latin America.<\/span><\/p>\n In total, until noon today, 4 days after the registration process started, about 16 thousand Albanians living abroad have applied.
