Strong ties in foreign policy have also influenced the expansion of investments, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Over the years, the stock of investments has progressively increased from 293 million euros in 2014 to 1.2 billion euros in 2024.<\/p>\n
The American business presence in Albania is well-established and is represented and protected by the American Chamber of Commerce. This chamber has 260 active members, who generate an annual turnover of nearly 25% of the country’s GDP and employ 40,000 individuals.<\/p>\n
