The sounds of two giants of classical music, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, marked the opening of this year\u2019s season at the National Theater of Opera and Ballet on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n
Performed by the virtuoso pianist Giovanni Bertolazzi, Rachmaninoff\u2019s Piano Concerto No. 3 is a masterpiece that captivated the audience with its sensitivity and dramatic power, taking every note on an intense spiritual journey.<\/p>\n
Tchaikovsky\u2019s Symphony No. 5, a work filled with passion, sorrow, and triumph that portrays humanity\u2019s struggle with destiny, was powerfully brought to life by the Symphony Orchestra of the National Theater of Opera and Ballet under the masterful direction of conductor Sergio Alapont.<\/p>\n
Although the National Theater of Opera and Ballet does not yet have a finalized performance calendar for 2025, it will remain open to the public with weekend shows.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the Folk Ensemble of Songs and Dances will continue with a separate artistic calendar from that of the National Theater of Opera and Ballet.<\/p>\n
On January 25, it will present the concert \u201cTr\u00ebndafilin kur ta dhash\u00eb\u201d (\u201cWhen I Gave You the Rose\u201d), an emotional journey encompassing all Albanian regions.<\/p>\n
