This rapid appreciation may spark optimism among businesses that have suffered losses in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>After a long period of consistent decline, the Euro has gained more than 2 points in recent days, exceeding 100 lek in the domestic market.<\/p>\n<p>According to the official exchange rate of the Central Bank, the Euro traded at 100.06 lek midweek, marking its highest level since September of last year.<\/p>\n<p>If this appreciation trend continues, it could positively impact several production and export sectors, which have faced significant losses over the past three years.<\/p>\n<p>In January 2024, the Euro reached its highest value of the year at 104.7 lek before declining sharply after May, hitting its lowest point in November at 98.2 lek.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of 2024, the Bank of Albania increased its interventions in the currency market to stabilize the Euro.
