As a host nation, Albania will have, for the first time, the opportunity to be represented by its U-21 generation in a major international tournament.<\/p>\n<p>The President of the Albanian Football Federation (FSHF), Armand Duka, stated:<br \/>\n<em>&#8220;This is a very important decision by UEFA because the 2027 U-21 European Championship will be more than just a football tournament. It will serve as a catalyst for breaking barriers, strengthening mutual understanding, and creating a more positive future for the people of Albania and Serbia. This tournament will also showcase what can be achieved when people come together around a shared goal, inspired by the power of football.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>President Duka added:<br \/>\n<em>&#8220;This will be the biggest sporting event in Albania&#8217;s history. Therefore, it provides us with the opportunity, with UEFA\u2019s support, to modernize stadiums and football infrastructure across the country. Additionally, this event will create a lasting legacy to inspire future generations of players, volunteers, and fans in both countries.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The two host nations will each welcome eight participating teams, with the matches being played in the respective host country until the grand final, which will take place at the <em>Air Albania Stadium<\/em> in Tirana.<\/p>\n<p>This stadium, with a capacity of 22,000 spectators, previously hosted the UEFA Europa Conference League final in 2022.
