According to official data, 14% of individuals over the age of 15 in the country consume alcohol beyond the permitted limits, while 1.5% are dependent and consume alcohol at levels harmful to their health.<\/p>\n<p>The World Health Organization (WHO) has raised the alarm that alcohol consumption is a cause of seven different types of cancer, ranging from oral cancers to breast cancer, which has become the most widespread in Albania in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>Experts state that every alcoholic beverage causes damage, and the higher the consumption, the greater the risk of developing one of the seven types of cancer.<\/p>\n<p>They blame alcohol for over 119,000 deaths annually caused by tumor-related diseases.<\/p>\n<p>Recent studies have shown that no amount of alcohol consumption is safe.
