This will then allow time for the political process and ratification in the parliaments of EU member states. In this way, within a two-year framework that we foresee for the political process and ratification by member states, by May 2030, we will be standing with our flag in the front row of the European Union,&#8221; said Rama.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1147\" data-end=\"1262\">Rama thanked the negotiating team for the opening of the third chapter of EU accession negotiations on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1264\" data-end=\"1860\" data-is-last-node=\"\">&#8220;You are the team of negotiators in the effort to make Albania a member of the EU by 2030. Today is a beautiful day for all of us, directly linked to your work. I thank you for your efforts and for honoring this country, despite all those who try to promote a distorted image, suggesting that the Albanian embassy does not deserve respect. Yesterday was a historic moment in the process, known in Brussels\u2019 terminology as the moments when another door opens.
