For this reason, many chose to celebrate Kosovo\u2019s Independence Day in Durr\u00ebs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"259\" data-end=\"345\">Kosovo citizens themselves explain why they prefer Durr\u00ebs for this special occasion:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"347\" data-end=\"588\"><em data-start=\"347\" data-end=\"572\">&#8220;We love Albania, we are deeply connected to it, and we dream of coming here for vacations. We enjoy both places, but we consider Albania as our mother, and a mother and sister always stay together. That\u2019s why we are here,&#8221;<\/em> said a woman.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"590\" data-end=\"796\"><em data-start=\"590\" data-end=\"794\">&#8220;There are several reasons why we choose Durr\u00ebs. First, the affordable offers, the proximity to Kosovo, and the fact that we can use Durr\u00ebs for celebrations. This is not the first time we\u2019ve come here.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"798\" data-end=\"1020\"><em data-start=\"798\" data-end=\"1006\">&#8220;Albania\u2019s beauty, its hospitality\u2014it\u2019s wonderful. This is our first time celebrating Independence Day in Durr\u00ebs. We had a great time here, and now we\u2019re heading back to Kosovo to continue the celebration,&#8221;<\/em> said a man.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1308\">Kosovo Albanians are known for their loyalty in vacationing in Albania. This year, tourist arrivals have been exceptionally high, especially during the Independence Day celebrations, filling Durr\u00ebs&#8217; hotels and restaurants.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1850\"><em data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1800\">&#8220;This year, we have seen a significant influx of tourists from Kosovo. The entire Durr\u00ebs Riviera has been packed. Kosovo\u2019s Independence Day in Durr\u00ebs is a special occasion, celebrated in all hotels across the city with the same enthusiasm as Albania\u2019s Independence Day. The celebrations include music, traditional Kosovar and Albanian cuisine, and festive events.
