The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met today with Aivo Orav, the Head of the European Union Office in Kosovo.<\/p>\n
According to a statement from the Prime Minister\u2019s Office, Ambassador Orav positively assessed the February 9 election process, describing it as orderly and incident-free. He also noted that the elections received positive evaluations from Brussels.<\/p>\n
“Ambassador Orav congratulated the Prime Minister on the victory and the election results. Together, they discussed the next steps toward the constitution of the Assembly and the formation of the new Government of the Republic of Kosovo,” the statement read.<\/p>\n
During the Kurti-Orav meeting, they also discussed the necessity of lifting the EU-imposed measures against Kosovo and the need for a swift review of Kosovo\u2019s application for EU membership.<\/p>\n
Additionally, Ambassador Orav visited the three major political parties in Kosovo:<\/p>\n
