The Tirana International Airport concession will be extended until year 2040. The new contract, adopted by the Assembly in today\u2019s session with 90 votes in favor, will reduce flight ticket prices and expand capacities for transoceanic flights thanks to the investments of the \u201cKastrati\u201d company, according to the announcement made by the Infrastructure Minister Belinda Balluku.<\/p>\n

The Minister said that the investment of 99.3 million euros that the \u201cKastrati\u201d company will make for the country\u2019s International Airport will create opportunities to increase service standards.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe new contract lists in detail all real figures and financial analysis as well as why and when will they will be realized,\u201d said Ms. Balluku.<\/p>\n

Among other things, the Minister stressed that the 99 million euros contract also stipulates the time when these investments will be made, thus no longer giving the opportunity to postpone deadlines.<\/p>\n
