Exports in February reached a total value of 34 billion lek, reflecting a recovery in foreign trade, primarily driven by the sale of fuel and energy resources.<\/p>\n
The export of goods recorded positive growth in February 2024, marking a 4% increase compared to the same month last year. However, the growth rate has been heavily influenced by oil exports, as domestic production in most export categories has declined.<\/p>\n
According to INSTAT, the 64% increase in fuel exports at the beginning of the year has compensated for the decline across other product groups.<\/p>\n
For other goods, statistics indicate that Albanian exporters were not favored during this period, as demand in international markets was largely met by other countries.<\/p>\n
