The Gjirokastra Police, in cooperation with the prosecution, launched an operation this Wednesday to crack down on illegal electricity connections.<\/p>\n

Sources indicate that local authorities are executing arrest warrants for 16 employees of the OSHEE (Electricity Distribution Operator) in the Gjirokastra region, who are suspected of abuse of office.<\/p>\n

The individuals under investigation are technical sector employees and are accused of facilitating illegal connections to the electricity distribution network in the Gjirokastra region.<\/p>\n
