The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, held a press conference with journalists this Monday, where he presented the DP\u2019s economic program.<\/p>\n
In his speech, Berisha stated that if the Democratic Party comes to power, it will not tax small businesses and freelancers. He also said that the tax on property sales will be reduced from 15% to 2%.<\/p>\n
According to Berisha, the so-called \u201cRama\u201d fuel tax will be abolished, and fuel will not be sold in Albania at a price that varies more than \u00b110% from that in Kosovo and North Macedonia.<\/p>\n

Within this framework, a 10% income tax will apply to wages, excluding the first 50,000 ALL.<\/p>\n

Zero taxation for freelancers and small businesses.<\/p>\n
The annual profit tax threshold for small businesses will be zero up to 18 million ALL, or 500 euros per day.<\/p>\n
The VAT exemption threshold will also be set at 18 million ALL in annual turnover, or 500 euros per day,\u201d Berisha said.<\/p>\n
