The draw for the UEFA U-17 European Championship, set to take place in Albania from May 19 to June 1, 2025, was held this Monday at the \u201cHouse of Football\u201d in Tirana.<\/p>\n

Eight national teams will participate in this tournament, with Albania taking part as the host nation.<\/p>\n

In Group A, Albania is set to face some of Europe\u2019s football powerhouses: France, Germany, and Portugal.<\/p>\n

The opening match for the Albanian team will be played on May 19 at 18:00, at the \u201cNational Arena\u201d stadium in Tirana, where they will take on Portugal.<\/p>\n

Group B consists of Italy, Belgium, England, and the Czech Republic, who will compete for a place in the final stages of the tournament.<\/p>\n

The draw ceremony was led by UEFA\u2019s Head of Boys\u2019 Football, Lance Kelly, while the ambassador of the tournament, Klaus Gjasula, conducted the draw.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by representatives of the finalist teams, UEFA officials, members of the Albanian Football Association (FSHF), as well as media and FSHF partners.<\/p>\n

Participants in this championship will play the group stage matches before advancing to the quarter-finals and semi-finals, which will be hosted in four stadiums across Albania:<\/p>\n

    \u201cNiko Dovana\u201d in Durr\u00ebs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The 2025 UEFA U-17 European Champion will be crowned on June 1, in the final match to be played at the \u201cNational Arena\u201d in Tirana.<\/p>\n
