Three people have been arrested after attacking agents of the National Bureau of Investigation, an institution under the remit of SPAK. The agents were physically attacked by relatives of the former mayor of Mallakasta, Agron Kapllanaj. Kapllanaj said that the agents were filming with drones near his properties and that his relatives did not realise they were with BKH.<\/p>\n
The Director General of the Police Supervision Agency, Florian Sulejmani, has been suspended from duty. The measure was taken at the request of the Berat Prosecutor’s Office, as Sulejmani is suspected of abusing his position by changing the job positions of several judicial police officers. The Police Supervision Agency is an institution responsible for the supervision of the work of law enforcement and any complaints or allegations of corruption.<\/p>\n

A day after the inaugural session for Kosovo’s newly elected parliament was cancelled after it failed to constitute new lawmakers, Albin Kurti has blamed it on the opposition. While Kurti’s Vetvendosje won 48 out of 120 seats, it falls short of the majority needed to form a cabinet on its own.
