As of now, 45.34% of emigrants who registered to vote from abroad have already sent their ballots back to Albania.<\/p>\n
Since April 14, when the mailing of voting packages to the diaspora began, a total of 111,557 emigrants have returned their ballots out of 218,638 who received the envelopes. Meanwhile, around 25,000 individuals have yet to receive the packages sent by the Central Election Commission (CEC).<\/p>\n
Starting today and until 7:00 PM on May 11, there are 11 days left for approximately 55% of the ballots to arrive in Albania in time to be counted toward the final results in each district.<\/p>\n
Italy continues to lead in the number of returned ballots, with 20.6%, followed by Germany with 6.5%. Greece is gradually increasing its ballot returns, albeit at a slower pace, currently reaching 5.6%.<\/p>\n
According to the agreement between the CEC and DHL, the return of ballots from countries within Europe takes approximately 2\u20133 business days, while delivery from more distant countries such as the USA, Canada, and others may take up to 4 days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
