Rama expressed satisfaction that the road is now finished, effectively connecting Dibra to Tirana faster than ever before\u2014so much so that he described Dibra as &#8220;a neighborhood of Tirana.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He also highlighted that the Maqellar\u00eb\u2013Peshkopi segment is now complete, making the journey between Dibra and the capital significantly shorter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI no longer come to Dibra saying we\u2019ll build the Rruga e Arbrit or the Murrizi Tunnel. Now, from Astrit&#8217;s hotel to Tirana, it\u2019s as fast as a bullet. You\u2019re a neighborhood of Tirana,\u201d Rama said, underlining the road\u2019s impact.<\/p>\n<p>Turning to the upcoming May 11 elections, Rama stressed that voting for the Socialist Party (PS) is a vote for Albania\u2019s integration into the European Union, a move he says will open new horizons and opportunities\u2014particularly for young people.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn May 11, Albania must choose: join the EU within this decade and be equal to other Europeans, or fall back into the hole, with Albanians once again left outside of Europe\u2014foreigners on a continent where they are among the oldest peoples chosen by God to live in its heart,\u201d said Rama.<\/p>\n<p>He added that Albania\u2019s EU membership would mark the beginning of a new era:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAn EU-member Albania is a different Albania\u2014a new one, a new horizon, a new hope, especially for the younger generation.
