Prime Minister Edi Rama held his final campaign rally this Thursday in Vlor\u00eb, where he opened his speech by stating that the Socialist Party aims to win more than eight seats in this district and up to 80 seats nationwide in the May 11 elections.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery resident of Vlor\u00eb must come out and vote on May 11. They must vote because, in my opinion, with all the transformations that have taken place in Vlor\u00eb, with the name and recognition the city has gained\u2014and even the jealousy that has arisen because of me\u2014it wouldn\u2019t be right for the SP to climb above 80 seats while Vlor\u00eb remains stuck at eight. But the people of Vlor\u00eb know better, and I won\u2019t insist that I know better than they do,\u201d said Rama.<\/p>\n

He also presented several development projects for the coastal city, highlighting strategic investments that aim to turn Vlor\u00eb into a major regional tourist and economic destination.
Rama emphasized that with new investments and planned projects, Vlor\u00eb will become one of the top destinations in the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n

He mentioned the development of marina docks and a new tourist port, as well as efforts to attract prestigious hotel brands to the city.
Rama also announced that Vlor\u00eb will host a Civil Aviation Academy to train Albanian pilots and provide instruction for professionals from other NATO countries.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn recent years, a lot has been done for Vlor\u00eb, but in the next four years, we will implement projects that now seem impossible. Vlor\u00eb will become a premier Mediterranean tourism destination. Hear this clearly, because this isn\u2019t just campaign talk\u2014this is a real vision already in motion,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n

Another major investment, according to Rama, is the Vlor\u00eb Airport, which will play a significant role in the city and region\u2019s economic development. The Prime Minister stated that the airport will create over 1,000 jobs\u2014mostly for young people\u2014and will handle both passenger and cargo flights, connecting Vlor\u00eb with international destinations. He also noted that the airport will include a maintenance and repair center for aircraft from some of Europe\u2019s largest aviation companies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis airport will act as a strong economic serum for the city and the entire district. It will bring employment opportunities for over 1,000 citizens, especially young people. It will host a base for civil aviation and a center for professional training and development,\u201d Rama said.<\/p>\n

He concluded by saying that Vlor\u00eb will boast one of the most beautiful coastlines in the Mediterranean, transforming the city and region into a magnet for tourists and foreign investors.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
