So far, 36% of ballot boxes have been counted in Tirana, providing a clearer picture of the new political representation in Albania\u2019s largest electoral district.<\/p>\n
According to current projections, the Socialist Party of Albania (SP) is expected to secure 19 mandates, while the Democratic Party\u2013Alliance for the Great Albania (PD\u2013ASHM) coalition is projected to win 13. Of these, 12 SP mandates and 12 PD mandates are expected to go to candidates on the closed list, while 7 SP seats and only 1 PD seat are projected to be won through the open list.<\/p>\n
Projections also show that the \u201cOpportunity\u201d Party is expected to win 2 seats, while the Social Democratic Party (PSD), the \u201cAlbania Becomes\u201d Initiative, and the \u201cTogether\u201d Movement are each expected to secure 1 seat.<\/p>\n
Based on electronic counting in the Tirana district, results are available from 75 of 1,282 voting centers.<\/p>\n
According to the data so far, Blendi Gonxhja is the most voted candidate within the Socialist Party with 5,080 votes, followed by Fatmir Xhafaj with 1,880 votes and Erion Bra\u00e7e with 912 votes. These three are clearly leading the race for individual mandates.<\/p>\n
