Speaking before citizens gathered in the square, Rama said that Albania chose the stars over the fake hat.<\/p>\n
\u201cBetween the light of Europe and the darkness of the hole of a fake hat, Albania chose the light. With our voice and old radios, with a few tiki-takas, Albania chose our choir. Thank you, Albania. In my memory, saying the word \u2018victory\u2019 has never been harder than it is for this particular win,\u201d said Rama.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis victory speech has been the hardest to deliver, just like this win has been one of historic achievement,\u201d he continued, thanking Albanians for their vote.<\/p>\n
Rama also mentioned his parents, saying he hopes they will forgive him for the way his political opponents have spoken of them, and that he believes they are watching from above, proud of his achievements.<\/p>\n
