Kor\u00e7\u00eb has once again become the capital of poetry, as the first night of the latest edition of \u201cKor\u00e7\u00eb Nights of Poetry\u201d opened yesterday evening \u2014 a cultural event that brings together poets and art lovers from around the world.<\/p>\n
This poetic gathering hosts 34 authors from Italy, France, Israel, Monaco, Greece, Kosovo, and Albania, who have brought not only inspired verses but also the sounds, emotions, and culture of their respective countries.<\/p>\n
The evening opened with a heartfelt tribute to the late Kor\u00e7\u00eb poet Sk\u00ebnder Rusi, with his son, Eris Rusi, stating: \u201cPoets are mortal, but their literary work lives on forever.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cKor\u00e7\u00eb is poetry, and the name of poet Sk\u00ebnder Rusi is tied to that passion. For 29 years, poets have come to the city of Kor\u00e7\u00eb to be part of that unique poetic vibration. The nights opened with his verses \u2014 poets have an earthly life, but their literary legacy makes them eternal,\u201d said Eris Rusi.<\/p>\n
Participants in this edition praised the significance of the event in promoting poetic creativity and building bridges of cooperation between local and international authors.<\/p>\n
\u201cAuthors from all over the world have participated. Kor\u00e7\u00eb welcomes poets who bring their feelings through poetry. It\u2019s an honor and a pleasure for Kor\u00e7\u00eb\u2019s poets to be part of this. It\u2019s a great way to create bridges of cooperation with other countries,\u201d said Valbona Lola.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve had poetic gatherings in many Balkan countries and in Italy. Culture needs bridges, and these bridges are built by poets, by art and culture,\u201d added Arjan Kallco.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s not my first time in Albania; it\u2019s my fourth. I love Albania. It\u2019s a privilege to be part of this poetic night. I want to thank the poets and friends who have translated my books from Italian into Albanian,\u201d said Stefania Romito.<\/p>\n
