\u201cParadis Artificiel\u201d \u2013 \u201cArtificial Paradise\u201d is the latest exhibition at the Tirana Art Gallery, presented by the artist couple Flutura Preka and Besnik Haxhillari, also known as The Two Gullivers<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Through drawing and painting, the artists revisit scenes and emotions from their performative work, often incorporating artificial flowers that, in their visual treatment, appear natural and vibrant.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve tried to maintain a very modest pencil technique, which is our artistic homage. Drawing is a technique we constantly use and refine. We live in Canada and miss colors. We titled the exhibition \u2018Paradise\u2019 because, no matter what, color brings us joy\u2014it becomes a kind of therapy. Sometimes, we create a project simply because we need it spiritually,\u201d says artist Flutura Preka.<\/p>\n

The exhibition also includes drawings of natural flowers, offering a reflection on the experience of a beautiful yet unreachable and deeply artificial paradise.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis exhibition is also a call to people and the public to be drawn toward beauty. For the first time, we managed to gather around 60 works in one exhibition. Besides being a concept, it\u2019s a universe of flowers and a painting practice that reveals the beauty found in nature,\u201d says artist Besnik Haxhillari.<\/p>\n

At the core of The Two Gullivers\u2019<\/em> work lies the idea of travel, migration, and identity, treating art as an open and interactive dialogue with the audience.<\/p>\n

\u201cArtificial Paradise\u201d is an invitation to reflect on the real and the constructed, on memory and artistic presence, and on the tension between nature and artifice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
