Today we are united by a shared history, common values, and above all, the Greek minority, which is a bridge of cooperation and understanding. As Seferis would have written, old stories do not interest people,\u201d said Giorgos Gerapetritis, the Foreign Minister of Greece.<\/p>\n<p>On his part, Albania\u2019s Foreign Minister described the establishment of the consulate as a gesture that embodies the renewed relationship between the two countries, founded on mutual respect and long-standing friendship.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet us be the generation that builds a true and lasting partnership between Albania and Greece. Greece has been and remains an important partner for Albania.
