On the eve of the friendly match against <\/span>Jordan<\/span>, which will take place on <\/span>Tuesday at 19:00<\/span> at the <\/span>Air Albania Stadium<\/span>, coach <\/span>Sylvinho<\/span> and defender <\/span>Klinsman Cake<\/span> appeared in the official pre-match press conference.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coach Sylvinho emphasized that, although the game is technically a friendly, the team will not treat it as one.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both Sylvinho and Klinsman Cake made a special call to fans to <\/span>fill the Air Albania Stadium<\/span>, support the <\/span>Red and Blacks<\/span> in their match against Jordan, and celebrate together the victory over <\/span>Serbia<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sylvinho said that the team is fully focused on the Jordan game and on the two crucial matches in November, stressing that this is <\/span>not just a friendly<\/span>, but <\/span>an opportunity to improve the team<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

He also praised the players\u2019 commitment and asked for continued fan support:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t see tomorrow\u2019s match as a friendly, because in every game we play to win. I\u2019m not thinking about lineups or formations that haven\u2019t played together before. We\u2019re working hard, and tomorrow morning we\u2019ll decide the starting eleven. We\u2019ll see how the players combine with one another. Gripshi and Cake are players I really like \u2014 for their personality and what they\u2019ve shown so far with the team.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding the recent victory over Serbia and the upcoming fixtures, Sylvinho said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe return from the Serbia game was tough \u2014 we arrived late and there were a lot of people at the airport. I knew it wasn\u2019t a normal match. But the experience we\u2019ve gained, especially during the Euros, helped us manage it well.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our focus is on our next two matches in November. We\u2019re happy, yes \u2014 for the first time, Albania plays the last two matches with real chances to reach the play-off. That\u2019s something beautiful. The next match is very important.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Asked how Albanian he feels now, Sylvinho replied with a smile:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAfter qualifying for the Euros, I felt like a seven. After this win, I feel like an eight and a half \u2014 almost nine. We\u2019ve done well in both matches. I understand what these games mean to the fans and to everyone. I don\u2019t believe in friendlies; I believe in taking the next step, which comes in November.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

His message to the fans was clear and emotional:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSupport the National Team because it fights with heart, blood, and soul. You can lose a match, but we\u2019ve never lacked heart and spirit. There\u2019s no other way \u2014 we just move forward. We need our fans behind us.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As for post-match messages, Sylvinho shared a personal one:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI received many congratulations after the Serbia game. Ten days ago, I had a video call with my staff and Roberto Mancini\u2019s team. After the Serbia match, Mancini texted me: <\/span>\u2018Bravo Silvio, you did very well.\u2019<\/span> Of course, all messages are important.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

When asked about possible play-off opponents, he said:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, I haven\u2019t looked at any of them yet. I know myself \u2014 right now, I\u2019m focused only on tomorrow\u2019s game and the two key matches in November. The national team is here, our mind is on the next step. Nothing else.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Commenting on the media and critics, Sylvinho added:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve had a 15-year career as a player and 5\u20136 years as a coach. I know how this works \u2014 one day you\u2019re valuable, the next day you\u2019re not. It\u2019s part of the job. I\u2019ve known Rey Manaj since 2014 \u2014 he\u2019s our top scorer and respected by everyone. We don\u2019t talk about problems; we focus on what\u2019s ahead \u2014 Latvia, Serbia, and then November. We need to stay intelligent.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Klinsman Cake: \u201cWearing the National Team Shirt Is a Childhood Dream Come True\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Defender <\/span>Klinsman Cake<\/span>, who sat alongside the coach in the press conference, spoke about his emotions during his first call-up to the Albanian national team:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe emotions can\u2019t be described \u2014 everyone knows what it means to wear the national shirt. It\u2019s been a dream for me, as it is for every Albanian child. Every kid growing up here dreams of one day playing for the national team \u2014 and right now, I\u2019m living that dream.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

On his first impressions of the team:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe group is fantastic \u2014 very united. Everyone is supportive and welcoming, and I want to thank them for making me feel at home.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

About his first talk with the coach:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe talked after I arrived \u2014 before that, we hadn\u2019t spoken. Once the call-up came and training started, we had our first conversation.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

On whether he was promised playing time:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOf course not. No one gets such promises when joining the national team. We\u2019re all ready \u2014 whether on the pitch, on the bench, or even in the stands if needed.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

When asked about his reaction to the call-up:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t expect it, but when it came, it was a great surprise. I\u2019m very happy to be here. Once a Red and Black \u2014 always a Red and Black.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

On the reaction from his club, <\/span>Shk\u00ebndija<\/span>:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone at the club was thrilled \u2014 the management, the players, everyone congratulated me and wished me success. They also wished us victory against Serbia \u2014 that was the main goal.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

And finally, on his love for the colors red and black:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAt Shk\u00ebndija, those colors already mean a lot, but the national team is something else \u2014 it\u2019s incomparable. It\u2019s every child\u2019s dream, and for me, it\u2019s a dream come true.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
