The Electoral Reform Commission has unanimously approved the work program for the new Electoral Code, aiming for the parliamentary vote on the amendments to be completed by July 2026.<\/p>\n

The program includes a review of several key aspects of the electoral process, including the financing of political parties, campaign regulations, the structure of election administration, the use of technology in electoral processes, as well as the electoral system as a whole.<\/p>\n

Part of this process will be carried out with support from ODIHR and the Venice Commission, based on international standards. Each topic has a detailed monthly timeline for review and progress.<\/p>\n

Documents approved throughout the process will be published regularly to enable public consultation and to gather feedback from domestic and international organizations. This approach aims to ensure transparency and active participation in the electoral reform process.<\/p>\n

The goal of the program is to create a more efficient and fair electoral system by improving the clarity of rules for party financing and campaigns, and by increasing the credibility of electoral processes in line with international standards.<\/p>\n
