A large number of Albanian migrants are currently waiting in the neutral zone to cross into the Greek border checkpoint and then proceed to the neighboring country, where they live and work.<\/p>\n
The Greek customs authorities are operating with two booths at entry and two at exit, while the Albanian side is operating with four booths at exit and two at entry.<\/p>\n
At the latter, despite the high flow, there are no queues, as operations are being carried out at full capacity\u2014unlike on the Greek side.<\/p>\n
During the first days of January alone, more than 20,000 citizens exited through the Kapshtica border crossing point. Heavy traffic has also been recorded at the Qaf\u00eb Than\u00eb border crossing, where around 8,000 citizens have crossed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
