Prime Minister Edi Rama was today in Shkodra to meet with MP candidates of the district, and seek \u201canother chance\u201d by the citizens \u201cin order to continue working\u201d on the ongoing projects, not only in Shkodra, but across the country.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister also accused the mayor of the city, Voltana Ademi, of being \u201cindifferent\u201d and \u201cuncooperative\u201d in terms of the plans proposed by the government to be implemented in the city.<\/p>\n

According to the prime minister, DP\u2019s political partisanship has created an obstacle for the city\u2019s development.<\/p>\n

\u201cPartisanship has restricted Shkodra a lot\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

Moreover, PM Rama also continued to criticize the Democratic Party for gathering people in the midst of a pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese scenes are not suitable for a political force which aims seriously to be the country\u2019s alternative. We cannot eradicate the effects of the virus with the blink of an eye, but we\u2019re obliged to walk in a balance between restrictive measures and the economy\u201d, PM Rama said.<\/p>\n

He publicly called on the Democrats to continue their campaign, but to do so within the rules set out by the Technical Experts Committee.<\/p>\n

\u201cCarry on with the campaign, do whatever you want, as you\u2019ll lose anyway. At least you\u2019ll get a more dignifying loss\u201d, he concluded.<\/p>\n
