President Papajorgji emphasized the importance of open dialogue with international partners, discussing the Court\u2019s role in safeguarding fundamental rights and the latest developments in its activity.<\/p>\n<p>Official Statement:<\/p>\n<p>On February 11, 2026, the President of the Constitutional Court, Ms. Fiona Papajorgji, received in a courtesy meeting His Excellency Nicholas Abbott, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Albania, who was accompanied by Mr. John Walker, Second Secretary for Political, Internal and Justice Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Abbott underlined the importance of the Constitutional Court\u2019s engagement in strengthening the rule of law and expressed full support for initiatives that ensure institutional independence.
