Serbian President Aleksandar Vu\u010di\u0107 recently expressed concern about security in the region following the creation of new military alliances, particularly the Albania\u2013Croatia\u2013Kosovo alliance, which has been the focus of his reaction. In his statements, the Serbian president said that his main priority is maintaining stability in Serbia.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am the president of a numerically small country. I am not Donald Trump or Vladimir Putin, big presidents who can solve everything easily. For me, nothing is easy. Of course I am afraid. I am a president who wants his legacy to be peace.<\/p>\n
Suddenly a military alliance appears. Of course I fear for the life of every citizen of our country. That is my responsibility and my duty. Above all, I must preserve the stability of the state,\u201d Vu\u010di\u0107 said.<\/p>\n
He added that the creation of military alliances in the region causes concern for Serbia. According to him, this alliance is directly aimed against Serbia.<\/p>\n
Asked about the statement by Croatian President Zoran Milanovi\u0107, who said he would inform NATO about Serbia\u2019s new hypersonic weapons, Vu\u010di\u0107 said that Serbia maintains correct relations with the alliance.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will not join NATO. We will maintain our military neutrality, but we have correct and good relations with them and we will continue to build those relations,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
The Serbian president also stated that Croatia began modernizing its army much earlier. Vu\u010di\u0107 also claimed that a political campaign against him is being conducted from Zagreb, which he described as low and false.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am the person most exposed to a very low and very false campaign coming from Zagreb, but I am not worried about it. They tried to bring down our state and they failed. We will soon also have military exercises with NATO.<\/p>\n
