He noted that special focus is being placed on firefighting units, which face difficulties during the peak summer season due to frequent wildfires.<\/p>\n<p>Rama announced that the production of firefighting vehicles will also begin, and these will be made available to municipalities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are aware of the inherited shortcomings in the logistics related to firefighting services. For this reason, we have approved a project presented by the Minister of Local Government, concerning the mobilization of the necessary funding by utilizing the capacities of a company that is a newly established joint state-private enterprise within our Ministry of Defense system. We will begin to provide municipalities with the firefighting vehicles that are essential,\u201d Rama said.<\/p>\n<p>Rama also stated that a task force on waste management will be established, along with the drafting of a comprehensive plan ranging from public awareness to concrete actions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are working to review the waste collection system. We have already addressed the issue of waste processing, but I am referring to waste that generally remains a problem, especially during the tourist season, in municipal areas that are not urban zones. For this, it is necessary to establish a task force between the central government and local authorities.
