Compared to February, prices increased by 0.7%.<\/p>\n<p>The rise in inflation is mainly linked to the transport and energy sectors. Fuel prices increased due to geopolitical tensions between the United States and Iran, driving a 7.5% rise in the Transport category. Meanwhile, rents rose by 4.8%.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, the food group recorded a moderate increase of just 1.3% year-on-year, helping to contain higher inflation.
