The first concerns the rehabilitation of urban squares, the reconstruction of boulevards, and multifunctional centers, providing better public spaces for citizens across the region. Another element involves infrastructure investments in the routes connecting the Velipoj\u00eb coast, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Lake Shkod\u00ebr<\/span><\/span>, the Buna River, and the areas of Mal\u00ebsia e Madhe and the Alps. Another very important component includes investments in sewage and water supply networks, as well as aspects related to urban transport and tourism infrastructure for managing urban pollution,\u201d Karaka\u00e7i said.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1376\" data-end=\"1526\">According to him, these investments will ensure year-round tourism in the Shkod\u00ebr region, which offers diverse resources for visitors in every season.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1528\" data-end=\"1833\">\u201cThrough this agreement, for the first time we are creating an integrated corridor between the Alps and the Adriatic coast, thus enabling a full tourism season from winter to summer, staying closer to citizens and improving the overall economic development of the Shkod\u00ebr region,\u201d the minister emphasized.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1835\" data-end=\"2036\">The \u201cGateway to the Alps\u201d project foresees a financing agreement with the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">European Investment Bank<\/span><\/span> worth \u20ac50 million, while another \u20ac50 million will be provided by the Albanian government.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Albanian government has approved a new project for the Shkod\u00ebr region called \u201cGateway to the Alps.\u201d Through this project, \u20ac100 million in infrastructure investments are planned across the entire region, aiming to give a significant boost to tourism development, from the Alps all the way to the coast of Velipoj\u00eb.
