The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ferit Hoxha<\/span><\/span>, met in Brussels with the European Union Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Minister Hoxha stated that the focus of the meeting was the advanced process of accession negotiations, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the current momentum and continuing forward with consistency on this path.<\/p>\n

According to Hoxha, Albania\u2019s choice is clear: its path toward the EU is built on strong commitments, sustainable reforms, and concrete results.<\/p>\n

The Foreign Minister added that they also discussed the implementation of the Reform Agenda within the framework of the Growth Plan, which, in Albania\u2019s case, complements the EU accession process and brings tangible benefits to citizens.<\/p>\n

Hoxha underlined that \u201ccontinuous alignment with EU standards, strengthening the rule of law and an independent and professional judiciary, as well as steady progress across all negotiation chapters, remain Albania\u2019s daily priorities.\u201d<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the importance of clear communication on both the benefits and responsibilities of enlargement was also emphasized, with the aim of increasing public support and promoting transparency.<\/p>\n

For her part, Commissioner Marta Kos praised the progress achieved by Albania and stressed the importance of continuing reforms, reaffirming that the enlargement process remains merit-based.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs always, it is a special pleasure to have a substantive exchange with the Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, our Commissioner.<\/p>\n

Building on an advanced and dynamic negotiation process for Albania, we emphasized the importance of maintaining the current momentum and moving forward with consistency and focus.<\/p>\n

It has been said many times, but it remains essential: a credible, merit-based enlargement process requires timely decisions that preserve trust and keep the process predictable, effective, and future-oriented. Albania\u2019s choice is clear: its path toward the EU is built on strong commitments, sustainable reforms, and concrete results.<\/p>\n

We also discussed the implementation of the Reform Agenda within the framework of the #GrowthPlan, which, in Albania\u2019s case, complements the EU accession process and brings tangible benefits to citizens.<\/p>\n
