It was stated that prosecutors must carry out their duties free from unlawful influence while fully respecting the Constitution and the laws in force, since an independent prosecutor strengthens public trust in justice and equality before the law.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1358\">At the same time, the discussion highlighted that independence must go hand in hand with responsibility, professionalism, integrity, and accountability toward citizens and institutions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1459\">Metani pointed out that maintaining a balance between independence and accountability is essential.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1461\" data-end=\"1734\">\u201cProsecutors must be protected from unfair interference, but at the same time they must be held accountable for professional or ethical violations. Only through this balance can a trustworthy, transparent justice system that serves the public interest be built,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1736\" data-end=\"2075\">During the discussion, special attention was also given to the importance of preserving and increasing public trust in the justice system.
