More than 30% of the coastline will be available as free public beach areas, while municipally managed zones with reduced prices will also operate.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"406\" data-end=\"778\">\u201cFor this season, the Municipality of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Shkod\u00ebr<\/span><\/span> will manage four paid beaches, three in <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Velipoj\u00eb Beach<\/span><\/span> and one in the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Rjoll<\/span><\/span>area. Prices will not exceed 500 lek for umbrellas and sunbeds at these beaches, without affecting the free beach areas,\u201d said <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Bekim Mema<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"780\" data-end=\"968\">According to the municipality, these affordable beaches will serve as an alternative between public and private beach areas, aiming to provide services at reasonable costs for vacationers.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"1219\">\u201cMunicipalities have the right to set maximum prices for private operators. In <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Shkod\u00ebr<\/span><\/span> we have opened a public consultation, and the proposal is 900 lek per umbrella as the maximum price on private beaches,\u201d Mema added.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1221\" data-end=\"1535\">According to the municipality, private beaches will be subject to price caps to prevent abuses and uncontrolled price increases during the tourist season. Meanwhile, supporting infrastructure in coastal areas is also being expanded, including access platforms, public toilets, and directional signage for visitors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1537\" data-end=\"1874\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">According to data from the Tourism Management Committee, 42 permits have been issued in <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Velipoj\u00eb Beach<\/span><\/span> for beach use, while the regulation process is still ongoing.
