\u201cWe are still waiting for the counting of the votes. Votes are still arriving and being counted. Once the vote-counting process is completed, we will be able to start discussing the next steps. You should keep in mind what is once again evident: the Vet\u00ebvendosje Movement, together with our pre-election coalition partners, is the undisputed winner. We will lead the process of establishing the institutions of the 11th legislature,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Kurti also expressed optimism regarding the constitution of the Assembly and the formation of the new government.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am optimistic that things will proceed smoothly, both with regard to the constitution of the Assembly and the formation of the Government,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the election of the next president, Kurti stressed that the process requires cooperation with opposition parties due to constitutional requirements concerning the necessary number of votes.<\/p>\n

\u201cRegarding the election of the president, you know that this must be done in cooperation with the opposition because of a Constitutional Court ruling issued more than a decade ago, which requires 80 members of parliament to cast their secret ballots. We are ready, willing, and interested in communication and cooperation, but this is nothing new on our part,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
