Individuals prosecuted by SPAK (the Special Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime Structure) and those convicted of particularly serious criminal offenses are excluded from the amnesty.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"601\" data-end=\"740\">The penal amnesty law was approved by Parliament on June 18, receiving 84 votes in favor, with no votes against or abstentions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"742\" data-end=\"909\">Justice Minister Toni Gogu stated that 466 inmates will be released as a result of the law. According to him, the beneficiaries include 11 women and one child.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"911\" data-end=\"1207\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Gogu also announced that 869 convicted individuals will receive reductions in their prison sentences under the amnesty law.
