On tonight\u2019s \u201cRinvote\u201d, Euronews Albania\u2019s weekly show where two MP candidates are placed in the hot seat by two young graduates, Plarent Ndreca from the Socialist Party and Ervin Salianji from the Democratic Party will answer questions over the country\u2019s integration into the European Union.<\/p>\n
Plarent Ndreca is a candidate from the Socialist Party for the district of Tirana and has previously held the position of General Secretary at the Ministry of Interior.<\/span><\/p>\n Ervin Salianji is a candidate from <\/span>the Democratic Party racing for the district of Kor\u00e7a.<\/p>\n The MPs will answer the questions posed and unveil their party\u2019s political platform.<\/p>\n Mariana Ko\u00e7eku asked SP\u2019s candidate Plarent Ndreca why the Socialists had not included EU integration on their party\u2019s platform and over delays on the approximation with EU legislation. <\/span><\/p>\n Ndreca dodged the answer over the platform but mainly underlined the launch of accession talks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIn 2014 we received the candidate country status and in March 2020, I am assuming you are informed, accession talks were launched\u201d, Ndrecaj said.<\/span><\/p>\n Ndreca referred to his objective to represent the district of Tirana as the \u201chighest level of exercising public responsibility\u201d.<\/p>\n According to Marjana Ko\u00e7eku political parties are lacking \u201cstrong platforms\u201d and are not \u201cbringing anything new on the table\u201d compared to previous campaigns.<\/span><\/p>\n But Salianji dismissed her claim and said that the Democrats have brought a \u201cconcrete program in several areas\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cA large part of the youth does not expect attacks or electoral denigrations, but they expect problems to be spoken, accepted, and solved. Edi Rama has been celebrating the opening of accession talks for the past seven years, but negotiations didn\u2019t launch. The prime minister has direct responsibility for citizens.
