British ambassador, Duncan Norman has reacted over the debate about the ballot paper for the April 25th<\/sup> elections.<\/p>\n

He is asking all sides to resolve this matter as soon as possible so that voters can familiarize themselves with the voting method.<\/p>\n

\u201cImportant that ballot papers are agreed in time to give the voters a chance to familiarize themselves properly before Election Day. But they also must be clear so that a vote is counted for the party and candidate that the voter intended,\u201d- wrote the British diplomat on Twitter.<\/p>\n

There are only 21 days left until election day, and the ballot paper is still up for discussion.<\/p>\n

The Commission for Appeals and Sanctions, during Saturday\u2019s meeting, overturned the version approved by State Commissioner Celibashi, by accepting SP\u2019s proposed request to have a ballot paper, in which candidates are identified by number instead of by name.<\/p>\n

However, this model is also not the final one, as DP has decided to take advantage of the last resort, which is taking the case to the Electoral College. DP\u2019s representative in CEC, Ivi Kaso declared that the decisions of the Commission for Appeals and Sanctions on the ballot paper, as well as the logo of the \u201cBindja Demokratike\/ Democratic Conviction\u201d,\u00a0are politically influenced by SP.<\/p>\n
