On January 13, 2025, the 112th anniversary of the State Police was marked, where a ceremony was organized in which important figures from politics and security institutions participated.

Present were the Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha, the General Director of the State Police, Ilir Proda, the head of SPAK (Special Prosecutor’s Office), Altin Dumani, as well as other representatives from various police and political structures.

Minister Hoxha, in his speech, expressed congratulations for the new year, emphasizing the importance of commitment and responsibility for every State Police employee. He emphasized that this year will require more commitment and dedication in fulfilling legal duties, serving citizens and guaranteeing order and security.

On the other hand, the General Director of the State Police, Ilir Proda, described the 112th anniversary as a historical moment for the police, appreciating the sacrifices and commitment of generations of its employees to ensure the order and safety of Albanian citizens.

Also this Monday, the Minister of the Interior, Ervin Hoxha and the Director General of the State Police, Ilir Proda, together with the families of the Police Martyrs, laid wreaths at the commemorative memorial of the State Police Martyrs, fallen in perform or because of duty.
