Romanian Ministry of Defense has announced 130 Romanian soldiers are now part of the KFOR forces in Kosovo.
“Romanian army has completed increasing the contingent participating in the NATO KFOR operation in Kosovo, with a total of 130 soldiers,” the official announcement states.
The announcement also shows how the decision to increase the forces was made:
“The decision to increase the Romanian forces was taken as a result of the authorization by the North Atlantic Council to supplement the forces for the management of the current situation in the Western Balkans”, the announcement states.
