Germany is the fourth largest trading partner for Albania.

Exports have doubled in the last 5 years, as has investment interest.

Albania receives food, metals, minerals and leather goods from Germany every year.

Meanwhile, it regularly sends construction materials, fuel and textiles to Germany. Exports in value have doubled in the last 5 years, reaching 172 million euros, while imports have maintained a stable value, to increase in 2021 to 470 million euros.

With these figures, Germany is the fourth largest trading partner and accounts for 6.5% of the entire volume of goods exchange.

On the other hand, the investment of companies with a German logo occupies an important place for the development of the economy and employment in Albania.

Today there are 42 companies operating in our country in the field of automotive industry, construction materials and energy.

Germany offers work contracts for thousands of Albanian citizens, who have moved there temporarily or for a long term.
