2 Albanians are extradited from Germany and Britain

Two Albanian citizens were extradited from the United Kingdom and Germany to Albania today.

Through an announcement, the Police informs that the citizen Abedin Bacja, 34 years old, born in Fier and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment, by the Court of Durrës, for the criminal offense “Illegal Deprivation of Liberty”, has been extradited from Germany.

A 43-year-old man from Mati was also extradited from Britain, who is accused of the criminal offenses “Domestic violence” and “Destruction of property”.

Police Notification:

The next collaboration with partners in Germany and the United Kingdom, realizes the extradition of 2 citizens convicted/accused of kidnapping, violence and destruction of property.

This cooperation, which has been concreted between the Interpol offices in Tirana, Wiesbaden and Manchester, has enabled the extradition to Albania:

– from Germany, citizen Abedin Bacja, 34 years old, born in Fier. He was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment by the Court of Durrës, for the criminal offense “Illegal Deprivation of Liberty”.

In 2013, citizen Abedin Bacja and 2 other citizens forcibly took citizen A. Xh. in a vehicle. Then they called his father, who threatened the life of citizen A. Xh., if he was not given the amount of 7,500 euros;

– from the United Kingdom, citizen R. M., 43 years old, born in Mat. The court of Mati, in 2021, assigned the security measure “Arrest in prison”, for the criminal offenses “Domestic violence” and “Destruction of property”.

In 2021, citizen R. M. hit his brother-in-law in the head and body with a hard object (iron crowbar) and damaged his vehicle.

The State Police will intensively continue the joint work and operations, with the partners all over the world, to locate, capture and finalize the extradition of the citizens declared internationally wanted.
