Two English tourists have been arrested after distributing doses of hard drugs, in Dhërmi, during the tourist season.

Police announced a search for their accomplice and seized doses of narcotics cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy, ready for sale, sums of money in lek, euro and pounds, which are suspected to have benefited from the sale of narcotics, as well as 2 electronic scales that served for weighing narcotics in doses.

As a result of the police operation coded “Parts 3”, English citizens S. R., 27 years old and R. D., 33 years old, were arrested in the act.

Also, their accomplice, the English citizen Ë.K, 32 years old was declared wanted.

During the physical check, police services found 2 arrested citizens 50 doses of narcotics cocaine, cannabis and ecstasy, which were seized as material evidence, along with 3 mobile devices and 2 electronic scales.

Sums of money, suspected to have benefited from this criminal activity, were also seized, namely 3,260,000 lek, 12,110 euros and 2,060 pounds.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these 3 citizens who had come as tourists from England to Dhërmi, a few days ago, cooperated with each other, for the distribution of narcotics in doses, in this coastal area, mainly for other tourists, in the premises of night clubs and in the various entertainment activities that take place on the coast during the tourist season.
