2 people wounded after gunfire in Shterpce, Serbian residents block the road

Two people were wounded by gunfire in the village of Drajkovc in Shterpce on Friday afternoon, a municipality inhabited by a majority of Serbs in Kosovo.

The Kosovo Police said that the injured included an 11-year-old and a 31-year-old, who were injured through open fire coming from a moving vehicle.

After this case, Serbian residents blocked the roads in protest, Klan Kosova writes.

Regarding the case, the Kosovo Police identified and then arrested the suspect with the initials A.K. aged 33 years.

The suspect was escorted to the Ferizaj Regional Police. The Kosovo Police also announced that the two injured were sent for medical help to the Family Medicine Center in Shtërpcë and after receiving first aid, they were sent by ambulance for further medical treatment in Gracanica. According to police information, both injured are out of danger.
