24 citizens have lost their lives due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours in Kosovo.

The Ministry of Health has also reported that 890 new cases were discovered after the results of 10.614 suspected tests came back from the labs.

“In the past 24 hours, we have administered a total of 19.526 doses of anti-COVID vaccines. Since the beginning of the massive inoculation process in Kosovo, we have given out a total of 922.623 jabs.

That means that 307.467 citizens have received both doses of the vaccine. In the past 24 hours, 1.712 citizens recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries since the outbreak of the pandemic to 123.852.

The number of total active cases is currently at 26.688,” stated the daily notices published by the Ministry of Health in Kosovo.
